Writing Choices
Storyline Choices: The choices i used in my story was starting from the end and explaining how and what happened. My time period is 2010 and back then was different from now,2013. I didn't combine events because i just thought of one event and it was an event i wanted to share but didn't know how and writing this story and changing the names makes it more easier to explain the situation. No i didn't have to change a little bit i just had to change my role model so it can connect.
Setting: What choices did you make when determining your setting? Did you change the name of the location? Why? Did you change where the event actually took place? Why? The choices that i made for the setting is describing where the event happened and basically where the characters were. I changed the name of the location from G parkway to The Bricks. I changed it to the bricks because the community was cut into 3 sections and the side I was living on was called the bricks because there was tall brick walls where kids would play and others would hide. Yes i changed where it actually took place because if i kept the actually place then some would notice who i'm taking about.
Character Names: Yes i changed the names because I didn't want to put my family on blasted. the names i picked and translated in Samoan and the names and based on there character and who they are
*Allen-Laiti meaning "little" because he was the smallest in my family
*Alexus-Talanoa meaning "trouble" because she was hard headed and always would cause problems
*sani-tama meaning "boy" because he was a boy yet called a girl because of his hair.
*teigha_Ota meaning "fish" because I love to eat fish.
*t.j.- Tausi meaning "protective" because he was protective over Laiti.
*Alex-Fe'feu meaning "food" because he would always eat non stop.
Introduction Strategy: The strategy I used was start from the end to the beginning. The best intoduction strategy i used what dramatic and starting with a problem.
